How to access to the ASK NAO Interface - V2

To log into ASK NAO Interface - V2: Step Action Click the link: https://interface2.asknao.com/ The Login or create an account page appears. I cannot click the link: Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Mozilla, Safari, etc). In the address bar, type: interface2.asknao.com Hit the Enter key. Type your Email and Password. Use the password you received by email. Click the Sign On button. First login only if a message “Asknao is requesting permission to do the following”, Click the Allow button. The home page appears, according to your profile: Parent home Teacher home Administrator home Tip: You may create a bookmark or add to your favourite to keep the address.

Administrator home

When the Administrator has also Teacher and/or Parent privileges, the Admin home displays the the Teacher and/or Parent tabs. The role of the Administrator . The Administrator of an institution is responsible for creating the accounts for its staff, the parents, as well as linking child passports to the appropriate teachers and parents. Admin Menu

To display the admin specific interface, click the admin button. To hide the admin specific interface, click the admin button. List of users . Viewing, Editing or Deleting accounts . To view, edit or delete existing accounts: Step Action Click the desired user in the list. The details of its account is displayed. You can Save or Cancel change, and also Delete this user. Connecting a NAO to ASK NAO for the first time

Administrators and Teachers are able to configure a new NAO. To unpack and configure a new NAO for ASK NAO usage: Step Action Log into ASK NAO Interface, using the password you received by email. For further details, see: How to access to the ASK NAO Interface - V2. Unpack and configure the new robot, following the standard guidelines. For further details, see: NAO - Out of the box. Keep your NAO on and connected for at least 30 minutes. At some point, the robot should receive an update order from the Aldebaran Store, you will here the robot say: “I have updated abc-song application”, “I have updated ...” It will take NAO about 15-30 minutes (depending on your WiFi speed) to download all the ASK NAO specific applications. Create tab

The Create tab allows the Teacher to create Quizzes. The quizzes are used byt the Quiz me! Activity. Creating a Quiz . Step Action Click the Quiz me! button. the Quizz creation panel is displayed. Fill all the mandatory fields. Click the Add question button. Enter at least one question and one valid answer. Optionally, click the Add correct answer or the Add wrong answer. Click the OK button. The first question appears. Repeat steps 3 to 6 as long as you want to add questions. Click the Save Quizz button.
