Install Python SDK

The Download-Page for Pepper-Software offers a Python-SDK as a zip-filehttps://developer.softbankrobotics.com/us-en/downloads/pepperThere is no installer in the zip-file.The documentation about installation of that SDK differs in that point.http://doc.aldebaran.com/2-4/dev/python/install_guide.htmlFor "Windows" there is a link to an exe file. So what should I do? Should I use the zip file from official Download Page? Where should I copy the three folders from inside the zip-file on Windows10?

They still haven't fully added all the files to the new site?

You have to login to the old site (same login) and it should be on the resources page.

My login doesn't work on the old site. I double checked with logout and re-login in this new forum here. Can you explain what you mean with " They still haven't fully added all the files to the new site? "What is behind the link you gave here?

I think we missunderstand each other. ;)Please reread my first post. The SDK is on the "new" downloadpage ( Python 2.7 SDK 2.5.5 Win 32 ). But it is a zip file and not an exe file like the documentation says.So what do I have to do with the zip file? There is no exe in.

hmmm doesn't seem to be an executable I can find for 2.5.5   ... that documentation is not up to date and/or that file may not exist ...

Is the python SDK part of the Choreography installation? In that case I wouldn't need to install it separatly. How can I test if the SDK is installed? What whould be the first "import" command? Is there a "version()" like command, too?

Inside boxes in Choregraphe you can put python script to run on the robot. By default python is installed on the robot but you have to establish a session with the robot first if you want to send code from another computer. You can ssh into the robot with putty and check the version of python or go into the advanced webpage and check the packages version there as well.
